Selby Animal Hospital is building a veterinary team shaped by excellent medicine, clear communication, and a calmer way to care. As a doctor-owned clinic in the heart of Saint Paul, we are creating a workplace where high standards, thoughtful systems, and genuine respect for patients, clients, and team members guide the way we practice.
Working at a privately owned, doctor-led clinic means decisions are made close to the medicine, not based on production quotas. At Selby Animal Hospital, our team has the support to follow through with the level of care each case deserves. Dr. Amanda Mickelson leads with strong medical leadership, healthcare operations experience, and a deep commitment to practicing gold-standard medicine. Dr. Mickelson has led clinical teams, improved hospital standards, and built high-performing cultures—and she is looking for people who want to help shape this clinic from the beginning.
We are currently looking for veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants who embrace our culture: compassionate, dedicated and detail-oriented. Our team values gentle handling, strong communication and follow-through – all centered around gold standard medicine.
